Booking, Cancellation & Safety Information
1. Booking & Payment
Private Tours
All HUSKYGOROD experiences are private tours.

  • Husky Ride & Farm Visit (1.5 hours)
The maximum group size is 20 guests, plus 1 tour leader.

  • Authentic Husky Safari & Family Farm Experience (2.5 hours)
The maximum group size is 8 guests.

  • Hiking with Huskies & Farm Visit
The maximum number of participants is determined individually upon request, depending on the group's needs and availability.

We reserve the right to decline additional participants if the maximum group size is exceeded.

Booking Confirmation
All tours must be booked in advance.
A booking is confirmed only after full payment has been received.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, illnesses, travel disruptions and other unforeseen circumstances.

Date Changes
One free date change may be requested at least 14 days before the tour, subject to availability.
Requests made less than 14 days before the tour cannot be guaranteed.
HUSKYGOROD reserves the right to refuse date change requests depending on availability and operational capacity.

Getting to the Farm
Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the farm. However, upon prior arrangement, HUSKYGOROD can provide a transfer service for groups of up to 8 guests from an agreed meeting point located within 40 km of the farm.
The exact farm address and detailed arrival instructions will be provided after the booking has been confirmed and full payment has been received.
Please allow sufficient travel time and arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the tour.
HUSKYGOROD is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, navigation errors, transportation issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Arrival Time
Guests are required to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Late arrivals may result in missing the tour and no refund will be provided.
Tours cannot be delayed for late arrivals.

Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour and while visiting the farm.
HUSKYGOROD is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items, including phones, cameras, wallets, glasses or other valuables.

Photos & Videos
Photos and videos may be taken during the experience for marketing purposes, including use on our website, social media channels and promotional materials.
If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please inform us before the tour begins.
2. Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited capacity of HUSKYGOROD and the year-round care required for our dogs, the following cancellation policy applies.

Guest Cancellation

More than 30 days before the tour
  • 100% refund
29–15 days before the tour
  • 50% refund
14–8 days before the tour
  • 25% refund
7 days or less before the tour
  • No refund
Cancellation on the day of the tour
  • No refund
No-show
  • No refund

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email huskygorod.fi@gmail.com
The cancellation date is determined by the date and time the email is received.

Weather Conditions
Our tours operate in most weather conditions.
Snowfall, cloudy skies, rain, wind and personal discomfort are not valid reasons for cancellation or refund.
To ensure the safety and well-being of both our guests and our dogs, sled tours cannot operate under the following conditions:
  • the temperature reaches -30°C or below;
  • the temperature reaches +10°C or above.
In these situations, the sled tour will be replaced with a farm visit experience or rescheduled to another available date or time.
No refunds will be issued if an alternative activity or rescheduling option is offered.
All weather-related decisions are made by HUSKYGOROD and are final.

Force Majeure
HUSKYGOROD reserves the right to cancel, postpone, shorten, modify or replace any activity due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
  • extreme weather conditions;
  • unsafe trail conditions;
  • illness, injury or welfare concerns involving the dogs;
  • government restrictions;
  • natural disasters;
  • other unforeseen circumstances.
Whenever possible, an alternative activity, alternative date or another suitable solution will be offered.
3. Safety & Participation Rules
Dog Welfare First
The wellbeing of our dogs is our highest priority.
HUSKYGOROD reserves the right to modify, shorten, postpone, replace or cancel any activity at any time to ensure the health, safety and welfare of our dogs.
All decisions regarding dog welfare are final.

Driving the Sled
Only guests aged 16 years or older may drive a husky sled.
Guests under 16 years old are not permitted to drive.
The guide has the final authority to decide who may operate a sled.
If the guide determines that a participant cannot safely control a sled, permission to drive may be refused without refund.
All participants must follow the guide's instructions at all times.
The guide's safety decisions are final.

Appropriate Clothing
Guests are responsible for wearing suitable outdoor clothing and footwear appropriate for Arctic weather conditions.
No refund will be provided if a guest decides not to participate due to inadequate clothing, unsuitable footwear or personal discomfort.

Children
Children remain under the full responsibility of their parents or legal guardians at all times while visiting the farm and participating in activities.
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that children follow all safety instructions provided by the guide.
Children must never approach, feed, touch or interact with the dogs without permission from the guide.

Health & Safety
Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate. No refund will be provided.
HUSKYGOROD reserves the right to refuse participation without refund if a guest's behaviour may endanger themselves, other guests, staff members or the dogs.

Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking, the Guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, including all policies, requirements, and safety rules described above. These Terms and Conditions constitute a binding agreement between the Guest and HUSKYGOROD.
